Group of Morning Glories Size:27½x39½ Small plate with blue stripesJapanese print with motif by Ogawa Kazumasa Japanese print based on botanical photographs by Ogawa Kazumasa, one of the most significant pioneers of photography and photomechanical printing in Japan in the late 19th century. Ogawa Kazumasa (18601929) was a key figure in the Meiji period and known for his work with collotype prints and hand colored photographs. His flower studies were published in several illustrated works and combine photographic
