S. Armed Forces to recognize military members who served active duty in support of Operation Desert Shield or Desert Storm within designated geographical regions during the Persian Gulf War. Members who served temporary duty must have served 30 consecutive days or 60 nonconsecutive days to be eligible for the medal unless a waiver is
