Celadon stitches stand in for the embroidered trim, and glass bead buttons complete the dress. The design is based on an afternoon dress by Green & Co, from the May 1909 issue of 'Les Modes : revue mensuelle illustre des Arts dcoratifs appliqus la femme'.
