bronze age violin bow fibula rogaland silvered bronze Al het armpantser It represents a transitional formThis one fibula is based on a find from Rgje in Rogaland, Norway, and dates from the period 1500 100 BC. It owes its name to its shape, which from a distance is reminiscent of the bow of a violin. Performed in silvered bronze, with a length of 13 cm, almost equal to the historical original. The violin bow fibula is the oldest and most original form of robe pin and was probably used by both men and women to make a woolen cloak to close. A nice addition
